With the solid bulkhead in place (FUS36) started building off towards the rear. FUS30 (bottom skin) FUS49 (tailspring anchor bulkhead) and fin. Once in place it became obvious that forward fin attach was not going to sit flush against FUS36. Asked Jeff at Murphy and he said I could add a spacer (contrary to what was said on the builder's forum), but this would have to be tapered. As shown below in picture 3, moving the top of FUS36 aft lets this mate properly with the forward fin attach fitting. This then necessitated that a new top FUS29 be fabricated.
