Brief Description:  elevator control tuning and stops

A couple of hours to fiddle with the elevator range of travel and the stops to protect from damage. Elevator travel is set at about 33 deg of travel up, and 20 deg down (always need more up than down, like when flaring). Once I'm done with this step, I store the hardware in labelled bags, so final reinstallation at the field wil be a snap.

Also adjusted the rudder travel to allow 26 degree of rudder either side. Had to do this carefully and watch for possible interference with the elevator control tubes when elevator is at full up deflection.

Also just taking inventory of the final size hardware needed for final install (push rod to elevator control arm, AN3 bolts for stab strut, and 6 AN4 hinge bolts for empennage control surfaces). As always, these parts are bagged and lablled for easy reference later.
