With the windshield fitted (including the bottom rubber edging), the other areas are trimmed/dressed to in preparation for glassing the bottom retainer.
Everything is taped with blue painter's tape, and then instead of the wax paper prescribed in the manual, I used packing tape as a mold release.
Image 2 shows strips of tape I used the folded inwards, and then another piece of tape to apply tension and fix to the panel. This provides down/inward pressure on the windshield.
I also drilled one #40 cleco hole to hold the windshield side on. Not to worry, this area of the windshield will be trimmed completely off at final assembly.
