Brief Description:  Carb heat control

This was the easiest of the bunch. Since the carb heat flap is integrated into the lower cowl on the pilot's side of the aircraft, the cable routing from the panel to the control arm was well aligned to start with. Using the stand-off I welded out of 4130 steel, it was just a matter of drilling the hole in the firewall, enlarging to allow curvature of the housing, and arranging the routing to bypass the fresh air inlet and carburator. The control arm, and nearby retaining bracket, were placed there based on the Wynne/Weseman products, and really made this installation very straightforward. It's one of the few instances where I didn't have to invent/fabricate a custom design.
