Brief Description:  upper cowling panels Part 1

After again cutting a paper template to size and transferring to the stcok 0.025" sheet, and after a lot clecoing, marking, unclecoing, trimming, and clecoing, I had a fairly nice flat panel that fit reasonably well over the top right cowl. To account for the fairly tight 90 turn on the upper firewall, I had to introduce a significant bend in the sheet, so it went around this bendwith ease. Image 1 shows the curvature.

You can also see a couple of elongated holes I made in a sacrificial area at the bottom part of the sheet that overlaps with the lower panel. That's where the straps will go (as in Image 2).
