Here you see a close-up of the aft and front attach points. You can also see the stringer I added to the top of the piece to eliminate some oil canning I was observing 3/4 of the way from front (curved) to rear (flat) surfaces. The stringer really did the trick here. There's also a wooden stick visible in the second photo that is acting as a spacer between the starter and the cowl while the cowling is being built and shaped.
