Brief Description: Rear passenger seat belt attach
In image 1, you can see the side seat belt attach bracket I've fabricated for the single (forward-facing) rear passenger. It's the long doubler just above the corner wrap. It spans both bulkheads (by design) and has double rows of rivets going into the custom fabricated 0.030" channel behind it (factory channel here would be 0.020"). Difficult to see here, but there are two holes on the bracket that will be enlarged to 1/4" to accept a seat belt bolt. As described elsewhere, another seat belt attach bracket has already been installed in the floor. This is probably seems like overkill, but I felt it was necessary to have such a long beefy piece in view of the location of the attach bolts (more or less in the middle). Of course, nut plates will be installed here.
