Began installation of the top window by laying it into position. Immediately noticed I will need to trim the upper edge of the windshield to make it even. So I marked it and made the trim. Then I positioned the windshield, top window, and trim strip to make sure everything would work ok. Looked good, so I marked the hole locations on the trim strip and #30 drilled it. With the strip taped into position, I used the acrylic #30 to drill into the windshield, then a regular #30 to extend the holes into the cross-tube of the cabin frame. Removed the windshield and expanded the holes to 1/4" with acrylic bit. With everything back in place, used a #29 bit to enlarge the holes in the tube in preparation for tapping.
