Brief Description:  Continued wing to header tank plumbing

Today I continued to work on the routing for the wings to the header tanks. I had ordered some pitot/static bulkhead fittings, but there was no room for them. I ended up adding a 1/2" ID grommet which is large enough to accommodate the pitot/static lines, the nav/strobe wires, and fuel sensor wire and still fit in the trailing edge profile. The vent line will pass through the channel and the fuel line outside the channel and through the baggage back to the header tank. Drilled, deburred, and grommeted the necessary holes for the pilot side. Removed the pilot side header tank and added barb fittings and reduction adapter for the 1/2" fuel lines. Reattached the pilot side wing.

Started working on the passenger side. Removed the flapperons on that side. With the plane on vehicle dollies, I had just barely enough clearance in the shop to rotate the plane 90 degrees to put the passenger wing beneath the hoist. Hoisted and removed the pilot side wing. Began repeating the process of drilling passthrough holes. With no pitot/static lines on this side, a 1/4" ID grommet will accommodate the wiring. I got as far as the 3 wing passthroughs before it was time to end for the day.
