Brief Description:  Main gear notches and nose wheel

Received email from Roger that it would be ok to extend the main gear notches outboard by 5mm each. I used a rasp bit to extend the notches and then a sanding attachment on the dremel and a scotchbrite wheel to clean it up. My wife helped re-test fit the main spring and it went in easily. There is a little slop to the fit, but I suspect it will go away once the supports are tightened. I may also backfill some of the notch space with JB Weld or other filler to provide some additional rigidity to the fit.

Got everything out of the Matco box. There was a diagram, but no assembly instructions for the nose wheel, but it seemed straightforward and I had the HBH video. Used baby powder to assist in seating the tube in the tire and after some partial inflate/deflate cycles I bolted on the hub halfs. Added bearings and test fitted to the nose fork. Marked the locations for cotter pin bolts on the axle and incrementally drilled on the bench drill press. Since the wheel has plenty of clearance to the top of the fork, I re-oriented the 6 retaining bolts to have the nut on the bottom. Will need to find bearing lube instructions before final installation on the fork.
