Brief Description: Coolant fill and Thermostat mods
Messy stuff. Removed the existing coolant fill/distribution manifold.
Removed the thermostat housing. The lower bolt is really tough to get at. Was finally able to get to it by loosening the alternator mount and pulling it out slightly and loosening the back cover of the alternator. Removed the thermostat and ground off the pin so the lower spring and plug were off. Reinstalled and reassembled. This is the Viking modification to ensure proper and easy coolant fill.
Need some liquid gasket before installing the new coolant manifold and fill fixture.
