Continuing the unpacking. The submerged pump header tanks were packed together. I have removed most packing material in these photos for clarity.

Once I had everything except the engine removed from the pallet, it was time to unload the engine. With no helpers readily available, I used the two 2X2X12 square tubes I built most of the plane on to build a slide by moving the edge of the pallet over the edge of the pickup and putting the pipes through the openings of the pallet. The leverage and shallow angle allowed for a controlled, guided slide of the pallet to the shop floor. Once on the floor, the tubes went back out of the way and I removed the surrounding cardboard by removing the screws and boards that attached it to the pallet.
