Brief Description:  Flaperon Stops

This was another one of those things that seems so simple, yet is a bear trap. Started out by re-checking the control settings and making a few more adjustments. This was mostly work in the hell-hole. For flaps-down clearance, I ended up having to bend the pylons on the inboard counterweights to keep them from bumping the skins at full deflection.

Marked the max permissible deflection points to see where the stops need to be placed. Shaped the stops to go around the tube, drilled and attached them. Realized I installed them upside -down and needed to start over. Fortunately, I had some thick L stock, which I had ordered previously from Spruce for miscellaneous tasks, so I cut a couple more pieces and went through the time consuming process again. When the stops were in place, I riveted the tunnel support, which I had left cleco'd.

Tightened some linkage components and added cotter pins.
