Brief Description:  Wingtip fitting

Now that the wing is in the cradle, it is easier to work on the wingtip fitting. Began by trimming both front and rear hales of the wingtip and fitting them together. Placed alignment marks on each half. Drilled the joint rivet holes in the front part. Spent quite a while doing the fit/trim/repeat process on the parts. As with the starboard wingtip, the copper wingnut cleco's and copper pipe worked well to pull in the nose. Drilled and cleco'd the nose first. Then positioned the rear half and drilled/cleco'd 2 of the 7 joint locations, making sure the marks previously made were aligned. Then drilled and cleco'd rear portion, moving towards trailing edge. It ended up looking pretty good. About the same fit as the starboard wing was.
