Brief Description:  Root skin work

Fitted the root skin. Started by fitting the spar root angle and wing root angle. Used a wood block to brace the root nose rib (27mm was what worked for me). During test fit, I was able to get a marker under the skin to mark nose rib outline so I would know where to drill the holes for the front root rib. Took a number of test fits to get everything more or less the way I wanted it. During the fitting process I noticed a crack developing where the skin makes the bend for the nose. I'll cover how I dealt with that in another entry. Got the root nose skin riveted, but not along the spar root angle since that is also the rivet line for the fron of the root top skin which will not get riveted until the wings are attached. Riveted the root top angle to the root top skin (except for the rivet that slides under the wing root angle per plans). Cleco'd the root top skin in place.
