Brief Description: Wingtip wiring, final leak test, top skin prep
Routed the wintip lighting cable. This, and the fuel sender wire was the last bit of work needed for the trailing edge plumbing/wiring. Thought I had enough ring terminals for the sender, but had to run into town. Of course the wife thought I should take her to lunch since I was going into town. She puts up with me, so I guess thats part of the job. Got back and wired up the sender. Connected fuel line to outlet and return tubes and filled with 15 gallons of gasoline. No leaks that I can detect in the system, but I'll leave it overnight. Deburred trailing edge skins and any top skins not completely done. Applied cortec to spars, ribs, and mating surfaces. Assuming no leaks, I'll drain the tank tomorrow and start attaching top skins.
