Brief Description: Initial cut and fit of baggage back carpet
The sheet metal in the baggage area is really thin and I thought it needed some protection, so I bought some lightweight indoor-outdoor carpet at Lowes along with some 3M 90 Contact Adhesive spray. Started on the baggage rear. Its really awkward getting back there now without bending metal. Took measurements and rough-cut carpet to fit the back and shelf top. Had to make cutouts for the fuel lines and antenna cable. For now, I did not cut openings for the access panels. To assist in positioning, I added some velcro strips. They did not adhere well to the carpet back, so my wife sewed them into place for me.
