Over the last several days I have been putting the final touches on the wing root fairings. They are not perfectly symmetrical, but serve the purpose of covering up the gap and hiding some hangar rash from manipulating the wings. They should help keep water from entering the cabin from that region as well. They fit nide and snug against the surfaces. To secure them, I added a nutplate to the top and bottom of each wing and put a screw through the top and bottom of each fairing. Feels rock-solid. When attaching the wings for the final time I will seal caulk the edges for that final bit of water-seal.
