Brief Description:  Pitot/Static test and fix

Connected the pitot line in the cabin to the line in the wing and ran a test using a syringe and length of tube I found in the shop. The pitot test failed miserably. Working backwards from the wing to cabin connection, it became obvious that my problem was at or near the connection to the ADAHRS. So off came the seat pan. I discovered that the short length of tube connecting the ADAHRS port to the right angle connector was slit up the middle. In what has to have been one of the most bone-headed of my mistakes I had evidently cut that length from a segment I had split open to use as cable abraision protection and not noticed the split. After replacing the segment, the pitot side tested ok.

To test the static side, I tested from the fuselage side of the connection to the wing. Purchased a short length of surgical tubing which I connected to the line and clamped off the line after compressing the tube to create vacuum. The static side tested ok the first time.

With both tests now ok, I re-secured the lines and re-installed the seat pan.
