Brief Description: HS Fix - Insp ports, fin mount holes, prep, and ri
I cut out the section of the old skin where the vertical fin supports were and used it as a template to drill new holes to match. I also drilled a small hole in the bottom forward section. It will be covered by the vertical fin, but I should have enough room to snake an inspection camera in to complete the annual inspection of the mounting brackets. Also added holes on the upper skin to allow visual inspection of the aft side of the mounts. I will have to come up with removable plugs for these as they are exposed.
I also added a strike plate for the elevator stop. It never seemed right that the edge of the nylon stop should be on the bare, unsupported skin of the stab.
