Brief Description: Removed Hstab for required upgrade
Zenith recently announced a mandatory fix for the possibility of failure of the horizontal stabilizer. They provided 2 options. A whole new front skin or separate skins for each side that go on top of the existing skin and can be done without removing the stab. I decided to bite the bullet and go for the whole new skin as I can foresee some long term issues with sandwiching skin layers.
So I drilled out lots of rivets and removed the rudder, vertical stabilizer, and horizontal stab. The fix kit should be here next week, but I wanted to get the stab removal out of the way. I'll wait to remove the skin rivets until the kit arrives and I can clearly see what needs to be done.
