Brief Description:  Misc controls work

Lots of little miscellaneous tasks related to the controls.

Mostly, I went through the systems, tightening and adding cotter pins where I had previously deferred installation until I was pretty sure I would not be needing to take them apart again. One of the toughest locations was where the brake cylinders attach to the toe pedals. Because of the location under the dash, it would be difficult to insert the cotter pin behind the pedal, so I reversed the bolts, which in itself was a difficult manuever. Eventually I used a wire hook and string set-up to fish the bolt in from behind the pedal.

I also placed heat-shrink tubing on the nico-press sleeves in the linkages, which works better than wrapping them.

I finally got around to addressing the elevator cable crossing interference issue. The forums depict several alternatives. The one I came up with is shown below and seems to maintain clearance while inputting minimal friction in full roll deflection. My header tank brace is a good point for securing one end of the bungee with the other hooked into the shackle. I will need to better secure it when I go through the safety wire process, but this feels like a pretty good solution.
