I know, 3 hours just to wire the trim switch (not even with the indicator) seems a bit excessive. A few things made it take longer than I expected. First, I had to go back to the servo and confirm the wiring pattern to the 5 wire cable which doesn't have the same color scheme. That being done, I labelled the wiring at the dashboard exit. Next, the 5 wire cable did not reach the switch/indicator area, so I had to splice in additional lengths to get the trim wiring to the switch/indicator area. Finally, I ran power and ground to the switch and added plug connectors for the servo white wiring so I can disconnect if needed. Hooked up a 9V battery to test the switch and it operated the trim tabs correctly. Next up is wiring the trim indicator.
