Brief Description:  Panel work

Getting serious about the panel now. Mounted flap switch near throttle. Laid out trim tab and indicator above and to the left of the throttle. Should be able to manipulate throttle, trim, and flaps one handed. Laid out the ELT switch above so it will not be inadvertently tripped by the throttle when the panel is folded down. To the right of that is where the tablet will go horizontally. Above the panel on the right will be the fuel indicator. Will be moving the Viking view to the right of the current hole. Below the old hole is where I laid out the com and transponder. There is enough room to add a 2nd radio if I decide to expand later. Below the new Viking View location is the Composite Design power panel. Cut the hole for that and test fit. The existing ground buss in the avionics bay will need to be relocated. With the buss removed, the power panel fit nicely and the rear bottom edge sits on the avionics shelf, providing support for the unit. The unit clears the battery just enough. The power panel clears the bay when the panel is folded down and the connection points are easily reached. To the right of the power panel will be the map box, which I will need to fabricate supports for. Tomorrow I hope to get more things mounted in this panel which I will then use as a template for the final panel.
