Brief Description:  Finalizing fuel route

Started the final routing of the fuel line. Drilled out the air box side rivets holding the radiator in place and rear support bolts. Supporting the back end of the radiator with a sling to keep from putting too much strain on the still connected hoses and fittings.

Decided to change the fuel line routing from underneath the intake manifold to on top. There were some good places for cushion clamps which I used. Decided I liked the locations on the back of the engine I had been using temporarily. With the firewall forward routed, I used some more cushion clamps and mostly existing bolt locations to secure the line to the belly along the channel above the radiator. Needed to change a couple of rivet directions to provide a clean path.

Used a 90 degree elbow to enter the cabin, but made the mistake of clamping the underside before the inside. Not enough room in the channel to work. Removed the O clamp and started working from the inside hose. Used another 90 degree elbow to clear the gear channel, then inserted the hose back through the belly. I will clamp both ends of the pass-through elbow from below, but left it disconnected for the time being.

Running short of cushion clamps, so started working from the header tank side. Added a 90 degree on the passenger side to send the lines toward the pilot side where they will go into the check valve assembly.

Noticed that one of the input fittings on the check valve assembly is oversize. Sent Samantha at Viking an email asking for a replacement of the correct size. Also getting some additional O clamps as I have botched a few and would like to have spares handy.
