Brief Description:  Completed connections and tested engine wiring

Lots of progress today.

Secured the ECU to the underside of the avionics shelf with foam padding between offsets and ECU. Moved the shelf into place.

Supposedly my engine wire loom for my engine shipped in 2017 should of had a designated "silent ground" wire for the tach. After not being able to find it, Samantha at Viking confirmed I got an older wire loom without the wire separated, so I had to splice into the correct wire at the ECU connector area. Made the connection and sealed it.

Added a couple more end connectors that were outstanding.

Wired the "pull up" resister to the V V tach cable and power bus.

Mounted the V V control unit on the pilot side center console, but did not attach the center console side.

Rigged a temporary avionics power switch as the V V is not essential to keeping the plane in the air and will be powered from the avionics buss rather than the engine buss.

Connected everything up, double-checked wiring and switches off, and connected positive battery terminals.

No sign of fire or melting insulation. This is good. Tested the following with no unexpected consequenses:

Battery 1 - ok
Battery 2 - ok
L fuel pump - runs
R fuel pump - runs
Viking View - Avionics switch powers up, displays expected info
Starter - Just a quick bump to confirm, starter engages
