Brief Description: Finish nose gear, assembing mains
Greased the bearings on the nosewheel and assembled onto the fork. With the nosewheel added, the CG is now forward of the fuselage support and the tail is in the air.
Working on the main gear, I disassembled the Matco main wheel assemblies. Then I rounded off the aft corner of each side of the main spring to provide clearance for the brake calipers. My inexpensive Harbor Freight grinder died, so I used the drill and rasp bit to rough it out and finished with a stone and then Scotchbrite wheel. Torqued the nuts for the mounting bolts.
