Got the rear bearing down the length of the torque tube by making very slight indents on the metal part of the bearing so the brushing could pass. I didn't see any way to remove the brushing as it appeared to be affixed in place, although I did use the scotchbrite drill attachment to remove the powder coat and smooth it a bit.
Bolted the 3 part front bearing assembly together and test fit over the torque tube. Ended up using the scotchbrite attachment on the end of the torque tube and a sanding spindle on the center bearing hole to get it to go together and move without excessive tightness and binding. Used clamps to position the bearing assembly and supports so that the torque tube is centered in the oversize front seat support hole. #30 drilled the bearing supports and removed the assembly from the cabin, leaving the clamps for the bearing supports in place. Located and pilot drilled holes for the bearing side of the supports. Reinstalled to make sure torque tube was still centered. Looks ok.
