Continuing to follow the Jon Croke Homebuilt Help DVD on rear fuselage assembly. Since my controls are out for powder coating, I'm not doing any riveting right now. Stated by clecoing the torque tube brackets into place and fabricating the L angle that goes under the aft flange. Added the torque tube bearings (green plastic) and bolts, but did not fasten as everything will be coming apart for debur/corrosion protection when the powder coated parts get back. Then bent the small L's on the baggage bottom to match how the flaperon control channel would lay and after clecoing the channel, backdrilled the small L's through the channel and cleco'd. Added the channel cover and cleco'd. Cleco'd the seat harness brackets between the flapperon channel and skin/top longerons. I used the drill press to expand the holes in the flapperon control servo to 1/4" to accommodate AN4 bolt later. Finally, cut off extra from the 4 bottom longeron ends and smoothed. I probably should have done that before riveting the bottom longerons, but was careful with cutting wheel and it turned out ok.
