Brief Description: Drilled top skin to longerons
|
|
Happy new year! Or at least it was when I wrote this. New year, new part of the fuselage. I reconfigured the worktop slightly. The board clamped to the head of the forward work table lets the square pipes rest comfortably at an angle, which gives me the shape platform I need for the skin work. Cleco'd the two back panels to the top longerons, which established proper positioning, then laid out skin and cleco'd. The longeron extensions crossed, so I trimmed one with a hacksaw to clear the interference. With the relative positions of the skin, panels, and longerons established, I drilled the skin to the longerons, rear to front as was done with the other skins.
