Brief Description:  Drilled bottom longerons, gussets, deburring.

Flipped bottom and drilled remaining stiffener (L&Z angles) to final size #30. Then drilled the longerons to #30 or #20 per plans with exceptions as identified in Jon Croke HBH DVD. Flipped skin again and temporarily fastened the two back plates and drilled those longeron locations to #20. Flipped again and positioned and drilled gussets. I really like these #40/#30 and #40/#20 pilot drill bits. My holes are coming out much nicer than when I switched bits and it is a lot quicker. When I ordered the pilot bits, I also ordered a #30 in/out deburring bit. Started the debur process by disassembling stiffeners and deburring them and the holes. Used a file on the L/Z flanges as well as the inside skin holes. I used the deburring "out" portion of the deburring bit on the exterior skin by inserting from the interior. The result is better than what I got when manually working each hole with an oversize drill bit, so that is good. Now I wish I had ordered one for the #20 hole size as well. With the longerons still attached I used the debur bit on the #30 holes not cleco'd. My setup gives me good access to all the clecos from below the it was no big deal to move each copper one on the longerons over 1 and use the debur bit on the remainder of the longeron #30 holes. Deburred the #20 exterior holes manually with the oversize drill bit. Removed and deburred the gussets, cleaning up the milling marks with the Scotch-brite wheel. That is as far as I got on the deburring, which is a slow, tedious process with this many holes even with the debur bit.
