Trimmed (leaving lots of flange this time) the replacement nose tip and started trial fitting. The wing is still in the transport cradle which holds it securely in a vertical orientation that lets me get good leverage to push the tip forward and I can reach inside to make adjustments. After a few tries, I was able to trim the flanges where it had interference and get a good fit with plenty of flange for the rivets to bite into. Going to make sure the rear tip fits just as good before I mark and drill. If this works out as good as I hope, I'll put the other wing in the cradle to attach the wingtip.
