My friends and other builders have done a lot of research on alternators before me. I had a Plane Power unit installed when I received the IO-375 motor from Aerospor Power. These seem to be quite good, but B& C has better construction and an external voltage regulator.
I contacted Aerosport Power well after the sale,and they graciously agreed to let me send the Plane Power unit back to them for credit against a B & C. Very kind of them!!!
