I drilled the holes to attach the smoke tank. Rather than follow the directions, I elected to install the tank behind the pilot's seat. My thinking is this may pay off if I ever decideto remove the passenger seat for hauling long cargo. You have to add stand-offs to the bolts for proper spacing. The bottom mounting tabs have to be trimmed as well.
This tab will eventually go behind the seat brace.
