I thought about how to secure baggage to the floor for quite awhile. There are several options and I've seen a few guys get very elaborate with this. I tend to over do it, but this time decided to attach for hinge type anchors utilizing blind rivets that will penetrate the floor and underlying ribs. As long as I don't over do it with overly tensioning the straps, this will work fine.
