I've spent quite a bit of time hand cutting the major holoes for the avionics I'll use in the plane, but in the stock panel blank. I'll be utilizing the carbon fiber version produced by Geoff at Aerosport Products for the final installation. I will be able to install and run all my avionics in the standard panel while it remains safely indoors. I figure this will be a great test bed and a place for me to learn. Worth the effort, I think.
