"My exhaust from Larry Vetterman arrived today. This is by far the most popular brand of exhaust system used on the RV Series of aircraft. Quality and support are excellent.
I chose the crossover system. It reportedly is within a couple horsepower of the four pipe system. It also allows muffleres to be installed later (not me) if wanted. I have a single heat muff for now. I figure with heated seats, I should be fairly comfortable. If not, I can add another. Also, this system should produce a better smoke trail if I install a system.
Checked everything out and it looks good.Thinking of having the exterior of the last foot of pipe ceramic coated. It may be visible and could keep things a little cooler where it exits just under the fuselage floor. I'll have to investigate this thought additionally."
