I purchased a hand rivet tool from Gloster Air Parts, which seems to have either the wrong dies or the yoke is too narrow, as I can't get any more than 6mm clearance when fully closed. This is bound to be me, looking at it wrong, although Ted up the road who is a retired engineer with Monarch and various other airlines came down and he agreed with me that the problem was with the equipment, not the builder.
