The kit arrived today, and I had to unpack and check everything - I just stopped short of counting all 12,500 rivets.
I laid everything out in the loft of the new workshop.
Emotions were very mixed, from being excited one minute, to thinking "Oh my God, what have I done." and at this stage the design is still not approved in the UK, although I know it will be, I will be much happier when I know this formality is over and done with.
I still need to make contact with an engineer to get the workshop signed off, and I still can't believe that I, Biggie am actually going to build my own aeroplane.
Mixed news today, as I have recently been diagnosied with type 2 diabetes and so it was with some trepidation that I attended my medical to renew my PPL, and was given the news that I was grounded while he awaited some further test results. So, even if I manage to build the plane - will I actually ever get to fly it?
