Brief Description: Preparing the rudder skin stiffeners
Today I started cutting the skin stiffeners for the rudder. At first I couldnt align the holes in the stiffeners with the holes in the skin. I soon realized that this was done intentionally to prevent the stiffeners from being installed incorrectly. Once the stiffeners were cut and the edges deburred I proceeded to dimple them with a pneumatic squeeze. I dimpled one skin with my new dimpling table. It works like a charm. The other skin will be dimpled at a later date.
