Brief Description: Finished Gear Tower Rivets and Screws
I had put off riveting and bolting these because they are very hard! I couldn't just use any helper to buck these. Most are in very tight spaces that are akward to get too..... this is what stopped me earlier this year.... I always go fishing in the spring and summer but I left this time in a rage! These rivets had whipped me!
I ordered a small titanium bucking bar to use when I would start back, and it worked great! I had to call my good buddy and mentor Danny Broadhurst to help and it worked. Danny has been building and restoring J-3's for years. With his expertise and the compact bucking bar, we got this area done in just a few hours.....
