I really couldn't decide if i needed to go ahead and do the SB or not. I spoke with Van's a coupld of time and all they would do was recite the SB. I'm sure they have a ton of legal reasons for that. I've had the parts since the SB came out over a year ago but just couldn't make a decision. Now that I'm getting ready to mount the empennage for the final time, I needed to do something. I e-mailed Mr Ron Schrek on the vans forum for advice since I plan on doing aerobatics. Do it now, was the word. I'm very glad I did. Even though this plane has never flow, there was a very slight crack in one corner. I remember the parts being very hard to hold together during construction and I guess thats when it happened.... Any way, I am now compliant.
