Brief Description:  Elevator Control System

I had already completed the push rods earlier this year while I was waiting on someone to help buck some fuse rivets. Having the fuse on the rotiserie made this easy work. I did have to work very slow on removing about 3/8" from the "up elevator" control stop. I managed to get to 27.5 degrees travel on the "up" movement. I do have 28 degree movement to the "down" stop. This is past the maximum travel but, it doesn't hit anything. I will call van's but I think it'll be OK. With this amount of free travel range, I think I'll be able to "cut up" pretty good......

UPDATE:
I spoke to Vans today about travel, Ken reccomended to contiue to remove materail from the "up" stop to get to full 30 degrees of travel, even if I have to remove some material from the control horns. He stated that before match hole drilled kits, the builder had to trim the control horns anyway. In a tandem seating set-up he said I would need full up deflection. The 28 degrees of down travel was not a problem.....
