2/20/2008 Unpacking Wings - 2 hours I spent my evening thinking about how I want to re-organize the shop and getting started on it. I went by Home Depot and got a 30-something drawer organizer, so now my rivets are moving out of Feta Cheese containers and into a more organized setting. Amazingly, I think I'm going to have to buy another one of these organizers to have room for the non-rivet hardware. You can see the organizer here on my now very "busy" work table amongst ribs and boxes and bags:
I pulled all the blue plastic off of the tail surfaces and wiped them down good with lacquer thinner. I used a piece of conduit and rolled the plastic off. They sure are pretty. I started moving them up into the attic. I put tape over holes where creatures could get in, and am laying them down on pieces of carpet and moving blankets.
