I worked primarily on trimming and lightening the rudder pedal brace. I trimmed a notch in the bottom flange so it will fit around the firewall recess. I used hole cutter drills to make lightening holes in the web as shown in the plans. I fastened the brace to the center bearing block on the rudder pedal assemblies and drilled it for the three different positions of the pedals. I also drilled it to the firewall stiffener for riveting later. Finally I trimmed the excess material off the aft end of the rudder pedal brace.
