Brief Description: Aft Fuselage and Tail Spring Mount Channel
I began working through the plans to verify the quickbuild work for the aft bulkheads of the fuselage. I removed the F-712 (very last) bulkhead and finished the interior rivets on it. I then used the template in the plans to map out the cut for the WD-409 tail spring mount channel in the bottom aft skin. Using a dremel tool, files, and sandpaper, I cut the channel to size and edge-finished it. I also began aligning and drilling the bolt attachment holes for the mount with an angle drill, but needed to order a couple more drill bits to finish.
