Brief Description:  Remove Gear Weld Mount Part 2

I made my wrench extension. I bought a section of steel, it is square tubing, I wanted round but they hardware store did not carry any. I cut a wrench off and then used JB Weld putty to fix it in place.

I then used my newly fabricated extension to remove the bolts holding the gear weld mount in place. I first removed the 7 bolts that hold the weld mount to the side of the fuselage. One odd thing I found was that some of the bolts in the group of five were slightly bent! I managed to get all of the 804 bulkhead bolts out but this was a B$%(H. When I finally worked the weld mount loose, I realized that the nut plates on the top of the 804 center section will have to come out, there is no way to remove the mount with them in place. I either have grind down the mount so it clears the nut plates or I have to remove the nut plates. I think removing the nut plates will be easier, I will tackle that tomorrow.
