Mounted the fuel tank today to the spar and what a pain that was. I had to use some ratchet straps to help hold the tank in the proper location before drilling the rear baffle to the tank brackets. Also finished the priming and riveting the plate nuts to the fule tank brackets.
The ratchet strap helps hold the tank skin down onto the spar before drilling.
Removed the fuel tank skin but left the two outside ribs to drill the baffle plate to the tank bracket
Riveted the K1000-3 Plate nuts to the fuel tank brackets after priming.
