Finished the tie down brackets on the front spars and installed on both left and right spars. Torqued them to 20-25 in/lbs. I started to work on both rear spars by deburing all the components and drilling out the rivet holes on the reinforcement plates that attach to the rear spars. A vist from Dave Anderson from Madison Wisconsin. He flew over in his bug smasher 172 and is my primary instructor from the mid 70's he has every rating known to man including A&P. He said that If I would pick up a runout Lycoming that him and I could do the overhaul. This could sava a few bucks for sure.
