Trimmed the inboard edge of the LH & RH flap top skins so that there is an even 1/16" gap to the fuselage.
Attached the LH flap to the actuator weldment and enlarged the hole in the fuselage skin to ensure sufficient clearance when the flap is lowered. Here I also installed the additional AN960-416 washer allowed to move the lower rod end inboard.
It took several iterations of checking for clearance, removing, trimming and assembling to get the flap mechanism to work properly.
Trimmed the aft wing root fairings +/- 1/8" on the inboard side so that I could Cleco them to the wings. Marked the fairings 3/16" from the side of the fuselage for final trimming by using a spacer block.
